How to read this: a median is the middle observed offer, not the cheapest plan and not a prediction of a household's bill. The three usage columns are the plan filings' advertised average-price examples, which include the charges represented in each Electricity Facts Label calculation.

Reproducible methodology

How this report was calculated

  1. Source: the official Power to Choose statewide Export Offers CSV, collected at 2026-08-15T08:00:31.713Z.
  2. Starting rows: 1,832 source rows were returned and 1,790 contained the provider, product, term, delivery territory, and all three required advertised price fields.
  3. Deduplication: exact repeated records were consolidated using delivery territory, provider, plan name, contract term, rate type, the three usage prices, and the EFL or enrollment URL. That left 1,770 unique valid offers.
  4. Medians: each median is calculated across unique offers in that territory. It is descriptive market data, not a recommended plan or a forecast bill.
  5. Structure fields: time-of-use, renewable percentage, and fee-or-credit counts reflect fields in the state export. A fee-or-credit entry does not by itself prove a bill-credit threshold; the EFL controls.
  6. Marketplace boundary: this independent research feed does not power the PowerHQ marketplace. PowerHQ controls the live inventory, address checks, enrollment experience, and final checkout terms shown at /compare.

  • It does not model a household's hourly or monthly usage, taxes, deposit eligibility, or every conditional plan term.
  • A low advertised average price can depend on a credit, threshold, or time window. The official Electricity Facts Label and final checkout terms control.
  • The independent dataset is separate from the PowerHQ marketplace used for live shopping and enrollment on this site.
